I have ideas. Lots of them. But, they’re scattered through notebooks, sketch pads, my computer, and post-it notes. Acknowledging that I’m a visual person, I decided to make an idea wall for my sewing studio.
I had no idea how I was going to do this. So I googled for ideas on the web. There were a few sites that had really nicely done walls….and expensive ones. But then I did remember that I have some display panels in my basement that never get used. Someone gave them to me several years ago, but I’ve never had the need for these panels. So, staple gun and scissors in hand, I covered them with some leftover cotton duck, and black muslin. I used picture hooks on the back (3 each, heavyweight hooks)….drilled holes in the wall…..and put them up. Because I could still see the black screws above the panels, I put magnets on them to cover their ugliness.
Update: the wall is getting filled up!
This is the only board I had before (a magnetic white board)….I used 2 magnets for the eyes 🙂
